Product Discovery Request

Product discovery request sent from a frontend or BFF to the ACP Engine runtime chat API.

What This Example Demonstrates​

This request starts or continues a product-discovery conversation. The user describes the product in natural language while the client supplies stable runtime identifiers. Because flow_id is omitted, ACP Engine can select the Product Discovery Flow automatically and use its approved commerce tools to return structured product results.

How to Use It​

Send this payload from a trusted backend-for-frontend after replacing every {{...}} value. Keep the same session_id and protected resume_token for follow-up questions so the runtime can preserve conversation and pinned-Flow context. Storefront constraints should live in the session metadata or Flow-owned tool arguments, not unsupported top-level chat fields.

The access token belongs in the server-side request. Do not call this endpoint with a long-lived credential embedded in browser code.
