Agentic Readiness

Agentic Readiness evaluates whether a store is prepared for agent-driven discovery and commerce workflows. Reports provide a repeatable score, supporting findings, and historical trend rather than a one-time launch opinion.

Dashboard Areas

AreaPurpose
OverviewReview latest score, trend, success rate, report count, and average readiness.
New ReportStart a new diagnostic run for the store.
HistoryReview completed and failed reports over time.
Report DetailInspect findings and recommended actions from a run.
SettingsEnable automated checks and choose their frequency.
  1. Populate a representative catalog and configure required integrations.
  2. Create a baseline report.
  3. Review overall and AI-friendliness scores.
  4. Assign remediation work to the responsible product or integration owner.
  5. Run another report after changes.
  6. Compare the latest result with the previous run.
  7. Enable weekly or another supported automated frequency when the baseline is stable.

What to Investigate

Readiness work commonly includes:

  • Product completeness and stable identifiers.
  • Searchable descriptions and structured attributes.
  • Inventory and availability signals.
  • Cart, order, and checkout handoff behavior.
  • Agent-accessible integrations such as MCP or UCP.
  • Security, access, and operational ownership.
  • Failed diagnostics or declining score trends.

Usage Scenarios

  • Establish a launch baseline before enabling an agent channel.
  • Compare readiness before and after catalog cleanup.
  • Monitor regression after changing a source integration.
  • Provide evidence during a production readiness review.
  • Schedule periodic checks for stores with frequent catalog changes.

Interpreting Results

A high score is a readiness signal, not a substitute for end-to-end testing. Validate real product search, cart, order, payment, and reconciliation paths before production. A failed run should be investigated separately from a low completed score because it can indicate access, network, or configuration problems.

Operating Checklist

  • Keep at least one known-good report for comparison.
  • Record the owner of each remediation item.
  • Re-run diagnostics after material integration changes.
  • Investigate failed runs instead of excluding them from review.
  • Pair readiness results with API, webhook, and channel tests.
