Router Service

Router directs eligible agent traffic to approved ARP endpoints. It can use Router-specific rule sets and generate integration metadata for supported agent connections.

Router Workflow

  1. Prepare and validate the destination ARP endpoint.
  2. Create a Router for the intended workflow.
  3. Attach Router rule sets where required.
  4. Generate or copy supported integration metadata.
  5. Connect the Router to the agent or Commerce Flow.
  6. Test routing, denial, timeout, and unavailable-destination behavior.

Usage Scenarios

  • Separate catalog and procurement traffic.
  • Route pilot traffic to a test endpoint.
  • Apply workflow-specific routing rules.
  • Move a flow to a replacement endpoint with a controlled rollback.

Avoid unrestricted forwarding and validate every target before activation.
