WhatsApp Chatbots

WhatsApp connections link a store chatbot to Meta Business Messaging.

Connection Workflow​

  1. Create or select the chatbot.
  2. Create the WhatsApp connection.
  3. Copy its unique callback URL and verify token.
  4. Add both values to the correct Meta App Dashboard.
  5. Subscribe to the messages field.
  6. Test dashboard events and real webhook delivery.
  7. Publish the Meta application when production requirements are complete.

Review phone number, WhatsApp Business Account ID, status, and last webhook activity during troubleshooting. Enable mutual TLS in Meta only after the deployment ingress validates Meta client certificates.
